Nickel wire mesh, It means the metal mesh products made of high purity nickel material (nickel wire, nickel plate, nickel foil...) with the nickel content of 99.5% or more.

According to the production process, the products are divided into the following types:

A.Nickel wire woven mesh: metal mesh woven by nickel wire (warp and weft);

B.Nickel wire knitted mesh: knit mesh woven by nickel wire (hook knitting);

C.Nickel stretching mesh: rhombus mesh by stamping and stretching from nickel plate, nickel foil.

D.Nickel punching mesh: Various hole shapes metal mesh through stamping from nickel plate, nickel foil;

Main Materials: N4, N6; N02200

Executive standard: GB/T 5235; ASTM B162

The main nickel content of N6 material is more than 99.5%. The nickel wire mesh used in N4 material can be completely replaced by the nickel wire mesh made of N6 material; N6 material which meets the requirements of GB/T 5235 can also replace N02200 material which meets the requirements of ASTM B162.


Detailed introduction of products

Nickel mesh has good performance in corrosion resistance, conductivity and shielding. It is mainly used in the production of alkali and hydrogen electrolysis cell electrodes, battery electrodes, current collecting mesh, shielding radiation, special gas liquid filtration, etc. It is widely used in new energy power generation, petroleum, chemical, aerospace and other industries.

1. Nickel mesh is made of nickel wire through warp and weft woven, mesh holes are generally the square hole.

The main specifications are 20 mesh, 30 mesh, 40 mesh, 60 mesh, 150 mesh, 300 mesh, etc. The wire diameter ranges from 0.03 to 0.4 mm. After surface coating treatment, it is applied to the alkali, hydrogen production and new energy battery industries.


2. Nickel wire knitted mesh also known as nickel wire elastic mesh: It is a kind of wire mesh woven by knitting crochet technology.

According to different needle shapes and knitting methods, it can be divided into:

A. Single-wire single-layer knitting mesh

B. Single-wire double-layers barrel knitting mesh

C. Single-wire double-layers knitting mesh

D. Double-wires single-layer knitting mesh

E. Double-wires double-layers barrel knitting mesh

F. Double-wires double-layers cross knitting mesh

The product can be supplied in sheets or in rolls,the regular width is 20mm~1600mm, the normal wire diameter is 0.1~0.3mm, and the normal needle number is 3~5 needles. Other specifications with different mesh opening, filtration density can be customized as required. Mainly used in the ion film caustic soda industry.


3. Nickel plate (or nickel foil) stretched mesh: It is formed by mechanical punching of nickel plate or nickel foil, and the mesh is rhombus hole.

Mesh thickness: 0.04mm-5mm. The mesh opening is with a minimum of 0.3×0.6mm and a maximum of 30×60 mm.

The micro mesh product is 1x2mm and is mainly used in battery electrodes.


4.Nickel plate (or nickel foil) punching mesh: made of nickel plate or nickel foil by mechanical stamping.

Mesh thickness: 0.04-9mm. The mesh width is 4mm-1200mm.The mesh holes including: round hole, long round hole, semicircle hole, square hole, square hole, rectangular hole, monoglyphic hole, triangle hole, hexagonal hole, rhombic hole, trapezoidal hole, etc.
